Ingredients

ground hot Italian sausage

bunch
kale
stemmed and torn into pieces (about 5 cups)

small to medium sweet potatoes
peeled and sliced

low sodium chicken broth
salt
pepper
red pepper flakes
Instructions
In a dutch oven or large soup pot, brown the sausage over medium high heat.
Add the sweet potatoes, kale and chicken broth.
Bring to a simmer, stirring until kale starts to wilt.
