An effortless vegetable side dish

Roasted vegetables are the best vegetables, there, I said it. I have been a fan of roasting vegetables for years, both because it is undoubtedly the easiest way to prepare them, but also gives the most delicious results. Just a little salt, oil and heat is enough to bring out the natural sweetness of whatever you are roasting, while also creating a perfect texture.

How to roast Green Beans in the Oven

Preheat the oven to 425 F, and line a baking sheet with foil if desired for easy cleanup. Trim the green beans if you did not buy them pre trimmed. Be sure to dry greenbeans thoroughly before adding them to the baking sheet.

Toss the beans in the oil and season with salt. Roast for 15 minutes, then remove sheet from oven and turn the green beans over with a spatula. Return to the oven and continue to roast another 10 minutes, or until tender and starting to brown.
